  • ٱلَّذِينَ
  • ٱتَّخَذُوا۟
  • مِن
  • دُونِ
  • ٱللَّهِ
  • أَوْلِيَآءَ
  • كَمَثَلِ
  • ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ
  • ٱتَّخَذَتْ
  • بَيْتًا
  • ۖ
  • وَإِنَّ
  • أَوْهَنَ
  • ٱلْبُيُوتِ
  • لَبَيْتُ
  • ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ
  • ۖ
  • لَوْ
  • كَانُوا۟
  • يَعْلَمُونَ
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: The case of those who take helping friends apart from Allâh is like the case of the spider that takes (to itself) a house, yet of (all) houses the house of the spider is the frailest. If they but knew (the flimsiness and fragility of their idols they would not have sought their protection).
