  • وَلَقَدْ
  • أَخَذْنَٰهُم
  • بِٱلْعَذَابِ
  • فَمَا
  • ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟
  • لِرَبِّهِمْ
  • وَمَا
  • يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And We did seize them with punishment (in the past) but they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor would they supplicate (to Him for mercy).
