Surah Al Haqqah (The Inevitable) Ayat 44

وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings,
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name,
  • M.Pickthall: And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us,
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: Had he (- Muhammad) forged and attributed some saying to Us (and said, `This is what Allâh has revealed to me´).
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Then cut off his heart’s vein.
