Surah Al Haqqah (The Inevitable) Ayat 47

فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَٰجِزِينَ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And not one of you could have withheld Us from him.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath).
  • M.Pickthall: And not one of you could have held Us off from him.
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: Then none of you could have stopped (Us) from (punishing) him (and thus stood in Our way of dealing justly).
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: And We certainly know that some of you are rejectors.
