إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: Surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing!
  • M.Pickthall: He verily lived joyous with his folk,
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: Verily, (before this) he used to be joyful among his companions (and neglected the Hereafter).
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Surely he thought that he would never return (to Allah) --
