Surah Al Maarij (The Ways of Ascent) Ayat 9

وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And the mountains shall be as tufts of wool
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: And the mountains will be like wool,
  • M.Pickthall: And the hills become as flakes of wool,
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And the mountains shall become like flakes of multicoloured wool.
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: (Though) they are made to see them. The guilty one would fain redeem himself from the chastisement of that day by his children,
