Surah Al Muddaththir (The One Enveloped) Ayat 16

كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِءَايَٰتِنَا عَنِيدًا
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: By no means! surely he offers opposition to Our communications.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory!
  • M.Pickthall: Nay! For lo! he hath been stubborn to Our revelations.
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: Certainly not, for he has been a stubborn opponent to Our Messages.
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Surely he reflected and determined,
