Surah Al Qiyamah (The Resurrection) Ayat 29

وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And affliction is combined with affliction;
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: And one leg will be joined with another:
  • M.Pickthall: And agony is heaped on agony;
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And one shank rubs against the other (in death agony) and one distress will be combined with another distress (for the departing soul).
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: And affliction is combined with affliction --
