مِن نُّطْفَةٍ إِذَا تُمْنَىٰ

Muhammad Habib Shakir: From the small seed when it is adapted

Abdullah Yusuf Ali: From a seed when lodged (in its place);

M.Pickthall: From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth;

Amatul Rahmân Omer: From a sperm-drop when it is emitted.

Maulana Mohammad Ali: And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep:
