وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا

Muhammad Habib Shakir: And indeed He has created you through various grades:

Abdullah Yusuf Ali: "´Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages?

M.Pickthall: When He created you by (divers) stages?

Amatul Rahmân Omer: `Whereas He has created you by (passing you through) various stages (and endowed you with different qualities).

Maulana Mohammad Ali: And made the moon therein a light, and made the sun a lamp?
