  • وَلَقَدْ
  • اَرْسَلْنَٓا
  • اِلٰٓى
  • اُمَمٍ
  • مِنْ
  • قَبْلِكَ
  • فَاَخَذْنَاهُمْ
  • بِالْبَأْسَٓاءِ
  • وَالضَّرَّٓاءِ
  • لَعَلَّهُمْ
  • يَتَضَرَّعُونَ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And certainly We sent (messengers) to nations before you then We seized them with distress and affliction in order that they might humble themselves.
