  • وَاَمَّا
  • ثَمُودُ
  • فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ
  • فَاسْتَحَبُّوا
  • الْعَمٰى
  • عَلَى
  • الْهُدٰى
  • فَاَخَذَتْهُمْ
  • صَاعِقَةُ
  • الْعَذَابِ
  • الْهُونِ
  • بِمَا
  • كَانُوا
  • يَكْسِبُونَۚ
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: As for (the tribe of) Thamûd, We gave them guidance, but they preferred misguidance to guidance so the scourge of a humiliating punishment seized them on account of the (bad) deeds they had done.
