Amatul Rahmân Omer:
And (We sent) to (the tribe of) ´Âd, their kinsman Hûd (as a Messenger). He said, `My people! worship Allâh (alone). You have no One worthy of worship other than He. You are but fabricators (of lies by assigning partners with Him in His sovereignty).
