لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِى كَبَدٍ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: Certainly We have created man to be in distress.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Verily We have created man into toil and struggle.
  • M.Pickthall: We verily have created man in an atmosphere:
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: We have certainly created a human being (to face obstacles and) to struggle hard (to achieve a marvelous goal).
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Does he think that no one has power over him?
