Surah Al Maun (The Small Kindness) Ayat 7

وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And withhold the necessaries of life.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.
  • M.Pickthall: Yet refuse small kindnesses!
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And who withhold (legal) alms and other acts of kindness (starting from the Zakât to the lowest form of lending ordinary things of utility like a needle or a piece of thread to a neighbour).
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: And refrain from acts of kindness!
