Muhammad Habib Shakir: What! now! and indeed you disobeyed before and you were of the mischief-makers.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: (It was said to him): "Ah now!- But a little while before, wast thou in rebellion!- and thou didst mischief (and violence)!
M.Pickthall: What! Now! When hitherto thou hast rebelled and been of the wrong-doers?
Amatul Rahmân Omer: (The Lord) said, `What! (do you remember) now (while dying), whereas you had (always) disobeyed before (this), and you had been of the miscreants!
Maulana Mohammad Ali: And We brought the Children of Israel across the sea. Then Pharaoh and his hosts followed them for oppression and tyranny, till, when drowning overtook him, he said: I believe that there is no god but He in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of those who submit.
