  • وَلَقَدْ
  • اَرْسَلْنَٓا
  • اِلٰى
  • ثَمُودَ
  • اَخَاهُمْ
  • صَالِحًا
  • اَنِ
  • اعْبُدُوا
  • اللّٰهَ
  • فَاِذَا
  • هُمْ
  • فَر۪يقَانِ
  • يَخْتَصِمُونَ
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And (likewise) We sent to Thamûd their kinsman Sâlih, (who said), `Worship Allâh.´ But (as soon as they heard this preaching) they broke up into two factions who contended with each another.
