بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: I swear by the mansions of the stars,
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs;
  • M.Pickthall: By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars,
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: I call to witness the starry spangles of the sky,
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: And the promised day!
