Muhammad Habib Shakir: And, O my people! this will be (as) Allah´s she-camel for you, a sign; therefore leave her to pasture on Allah´s earth and do not touch her with evil, for then a near chastisement will overtake you.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: "And O my people! This she-camel of Allah is a symbol to you: leave her to feed on Allah´s (free) earth, and inflict no harm on her, or a swift penalty will seize you!"
M.Pickthall: O my people! This is the camel of Allah, a token unto you, so suffer her to feed in Allah´s earth, and touch her not with harm lest a near torment seize you.
Amatul Rahmân Omer: `My people! this is a she-camel appointed by Allâh as a sign for you; so leave her alone to pasture on Allâh´s earth and afflict her not with any harm or an imminent torment shall seize you.´
Maulana Mohammad Ali: He said: O my people, see you if I have clear proof from my Lord and He has granted me mercy from Himself -- who will then help me against Allah, if I disobey Him? So you would add to me naught but perdition.
