Surah Al Qamar (The Moon) Ayat 13

وَحَمَلْنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَٰحٍ وَدُسُرٍ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And We bore him on that which was made of planks and nails
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre:
  • M.Pickthall: And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails,
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And We bore him (- Noah) on that (Ark which was made) of planks and nails.
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Hastening to the Inviter. The disbelievers will say: This is a hard day!
