  • Surah An Nahl (The Honey Bees) Ayat 113


  • وَلَقَدْ
  • جَآءَهُمْ
  • رَسُولٌ
  • مِّنْهُمْ
  • فَكَذَّبُوهُ
  • فَأَخَذَهُمُ
  • ٱلْعَذَابُ
  • وَهُمْ
  • ظَٰلِمُونَ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And certainly there came to them a Messenger from among them, but they rejected him, so the punishment overtook them while they were unjust.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: And there came to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they falsely rejected him; so the Wrath seized them even in the midst of their iniquities.
  • M.Pickthall: And verily there had come unto them a messenger from among them, but they had denied him, and so the torment seized them while they were wrong-doers.
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And certainly there had come to them a (great) Messenger from among their own men, but they cried lies to him so the (promised) punishment overtook them while they were behaving transgressingly.
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: And Allah sets forth a parable: A town safe and secure, to which its means of subsistence came in abundance from every quarter; but it disbelieved in Allah’s favours, so Allah made it taste a pall of hunger and fear because of what they wrought.
