Surah Adh Dhariyat (The Wind that Scatter) Ayat 46

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And the people of Nuh before, surely they were a transgressing people.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed.
  • M.Pickthall: And the folk of Noah aforetime. Lo! they were licentious folk.
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And (We destroyed) the people of Noah before (them). They too were disobedient people.
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: So they were unable to rise up, nor could they defend themselves;
