Surah Al Qalam (The Pen) Ayat 29

قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: They said: Glory be to our Lord, surely we were unjust.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: They said: "Glory to our Lord! Verily we have been doing wrong!"
  • M.Pickthall: They said: Glorified be our Lord! Lo! we have been wrong-doers.
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: (Thereupon) they said, `Glory be to our Lord. Certainly we have been wrongdoers.´
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Said they: O woe to us! Surely we were inordinate --
