  • أَفَمَنِ
  • ٱتَّبَعَ
  • رِضْوَٰنَ
  • ٱللَّهِ
  • كَمَنۢ
  • بَآءَ
  • بِسَخَطٍ
  • مِّنَ
  • ٱللَّهِ
  • وَمَأْوَىٰهُ
  • جَهَنَّمُ
  • ۚ
  • وَبِئْسَ
  • ٱلْمَصِيرُ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: Is then he who follows the pleasure of Allah like him who has made himself deserving of displeasure from Allah, and his abode is hell; and it is an evil destination.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Is the man who follows the good pleasure of Allah Like the man who draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and whose abode is in Hell?- A woeful refuge!
  • M.Pickthall: Is one who followeth the pleasure of Allah as one who hath earned condemnation from Allah, whose habitation is the Fire, a hapless journey´s end?
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: Can the person who (always) follows the good pleasure of Allâh be like the person who has incurred the displeasure of Allâh and whose abode is Gehenna? What an evil destined abode it is!
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: And it is not for a prophet to act dishonestly. And whoever acts dishonestly will bring his dishonesty on the day of Resurrection. Then shall every soul be paid back fully what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.
