  • وَقَاسَمَهُمَآ
  • إِنِّى
  • لَكُمَا
  • لَمِنَ
  • ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: And he swore to them both: Most surely I am a sincere adviser to you.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser.
  • M.Pickthall: And he swore unto them (saying): Lo! I am a sincere adviser unto you.
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: And he ardently swore to them both (saying), `Most certainly, I am one of your sincere advisers.´
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: But the devil made an evil suggestion to them that he might make manifest to them that which had been hidden from them of their shame, and he said: Your Lord has forbidden you this tree, lest you become angels or become of the immortals.
